Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As an Account Manager at Arc’teryx, you will lead the work to bring Arc’teryx to life in Project Beta retail doors throughout North America. Project Beta is an ecosystem of forward-thinking retailers driving growth by activity in trail, snow, or climb. In this role, you will own and grow a highly curated portfolio of the brand’s most strategic run-specialty partners. In this role you will build relationships, visibility, and authenticity. This role is dedicated to strengthening relationships, accelerating sell-through, creating meaningful consumer experiences, and ensuring that insights from the most influential accounts and their consumers contribute to shaping the broader business.
This role may be hired remote within the West Cost, USA, preference for candidates located in Portland or Denver. Candidates must be a reasonably commutable distance to an airport.
Meet Your Future Team:
The North America Wholesale team is accountable for delivering sales through all local channels. We meet the guest where they are shopping, and ensure Arc’teryx is represented in an authentic, consistent way. As the retail landscape changes, we will work together to evolve our approach with creativity and teamwork.
If you were the Account Manager, Project Beta now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Owning the day-to-day relationship with approximately twenty of our most strategic specialty dealers in North America
- Building strong relationships with account owners, buyers, marketing teams, run-club leaders, and influential store staff
- Creating an individual growth and engagement plan for each account, covering sales, product, marketing, and community opportunities
- Analyzing sales and inventory performance and develop account-specific actions to improve sell-through
- Ensuring each dealer has the right product assortment, inventory depth, segmentation, and product storytelling
- Spending meaningful time in market supporting stores, training staff, participating in run communities, and understanding local consumers
- Planning and leading product demos, staff wear tests, community runs, and other product-trial experiences
- Project-managing bespoke account events from concept and budgeting through execution, measurement, and follow-up
- Serving as the internal voice of these influential dealers and tip-of-the-spear consumers, translating their feedback into actionable insights
- Identifying and building relationships with a small number of high-potential prospective dealers without compromising support of the existing portfolio
