Join Esri`s Professional Services team and work directly with Defense customers to design and implement mission-critical ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you`ll combine deep ArcGIS expertise with customer consulting skills to understand operational challenges, design geospatial workflows, configure enterprise solutions, and guide customers toward successful implementation and adoption. You`ll operate as a trusted technical resource in a customer embedded environment, working across ArcGIS, enterprise technology, integrations, automation, and secure Defense environments.
Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Quantico, VA area for this position. This position would be onsite with a customer at Quantico.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer mission and business needs into geospatial solutions
- Design and implement enterprise GIS workflows
- Configure and optimize ArcGIS capabilities
- Advise customers on platform best practices
- Develop and present complex GIS demonstrations
- Integrate ArcGIS with enterprise technology environments
- Use scripting and automation to support solution delivery
- Collaborate directly with customer IT and mission stakeholders
- Guide technical implementation and adoption
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Eagerness to work closely with customers to solve interesting problems
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and on-line)
- Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
- Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Defense and Intel domain
- Advanced ArcGIS Platform Configuration skills
- Advanced Programming and scripting experience with Python, Arcade, and/or HTML/JavaScript
- Knowledge in modeling and managing logical and topological network data
- System administration experience on Windows
- Active TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
