About the Opportunity
At Rennscot, we build complex, mission-critical components for industries where quality, precision, and execution matter. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Project Engineer who can bring structure to complexity, strengthen how we plan and execute our most critical programs, and help raise the bar for project engineering across the organization.
This isn't simply a role focused on keeping projects on schedule. You'll be a trusted technical and planning leader working at the intersection of customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations.
You'll take ownership of some of our most complex and visible programs while helping build the systems, standards, and best practices that allow us to scale.
What You'll Do
-
Lead planning and execution for some of our most challenging customer programs. You'll anticipate risks, navigate competing priorities, solve complex planning problems, and help ensure we deliver on our commitments.
-
Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a credible, proactive point of contact for program status, risks, changes, and priorities.
-
You'll turn complex technical, planning, schedule, and quality information into clear, decision-ready communication — including customer presentations, program reviews, and executive-level updates.
-
You'll develop and improve manufacturing planning standards, routing methodologies, and ERP governance practices that create more consistent, scalable, and reliable execution across the organization.
-
Help ensure our ERP is more than a system of record — it should be a reliable source of manufacturing knowledge.
-
You'll establish and improve standards for manufacturing plan information, including descriptions, bills of materials, part check information, routing, procurement requirements, and other critical planning data.
-
You'll work across manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and operations to connect customer requirements with production realities — identifying capacity constraints, material risks, scheduling challenges, and potential bottlenecks before they impact delivery.
-
You'll identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency, lead times, ERP data quality, scheduling, and workflows. You'll also lead structured after-action reviews on complex programs so lessons learned turn into better processes — not just conversations.
-
You'll be a senior resource and mentor for other Project Engineers, sharing your expertise, helping solve difficult problems, and modeling exceptional planning, execution, and customer communication.
