A Day in the Life:
As the Digital Commerce Director, Digital Shelf Performance & Ops, you will lead the team and system to make products win on the digital shelf, from content quality to data integrity to share of search. Build the performance analytics engine that connects what happens on the shelf to what happens in the Profit and Loss statements (P&L) and manage the vendor and syndication infrastructure that powers it. Pair analytics with hands-on command of our Product Experience Management (PXM) and syndication stack to turn shelf data into decisions the commercial team can act on.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Digital Shelf & Share of Search Performance: Develop and maintain scorecards to measure digital shelf health and hare of search across priority retailers. Analyze performance trends and identify opportunities to improve discoverability, content quality, and conversion. Partner with marketing, sales, and eCommerce teams to implement optimization strategies.
- Scorecards & Reporting: Build automated dashboards and reporting frameworks to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as content compliance, search rank, and availability. Present insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage scorecards across various platforms to assess digital shelf health and share of search, enabling a better understanding of image trends and identifying opportunities for our products to rank higher compared to competitors.
- Analyze this data to enhance organic search performance and explore search opportunities to drive business growth.
- Vendor Management (Profitero & Analytics Partners): Own relationships with digital shelf analytics vendors (e.g., Profitero), ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of insights. Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and evaluate vendor performance.
- PIM/PXM Expertise & Stakeholder Management: Serve as subject matter expert for product information management (PIM) and product experience management (PXM) platforms (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo). Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, enriched product content syndication across all channels. Drive governance and process improvements for content workflows and data standards.
