Job Description
About the Role
As a Strategic Sales Channel Analyst, you will sit within the product team and play a key role in advancing analytics across Wellmark’s product and sales channels. While this role supports the product model, it will continue to operate as a shared-service resource, partnering broadly across Sales Operations and other business areas to deliver distribution analysis, executive reporting, and insights that inform business decisions. You will develop and enhance Power BI dashboards that help leaders understand performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities. In addition, you will support sales compensation design, metric development, and strategic analyses that evaluate business performance, channel effectiveness, and key operational outcomes. Through your work, you will help teams establish meaningful measures of success and use data to drive informed decision-making.
About You
You are passionate about using data and visualization to tell a clear business story. With hands-on experience building dashboards, you know how to create visuals that help leaders quickly understand performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for deeper analysis. Partnering with stakeholders to define metrics, analyze business challenges, and develop data-driven recommendations comes naturally to you. You enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity and helping teams take a more strategic and disciplined approach to measuring success. Assertive, collaborative, and results-oriented, you have a proven ability to translate complex information into actionable insights and communicate effectively with both operational stakeholders and executive audiences.
