Our client list and fast growth come from a culture of no-waffle and a strong creative focus. The successful applicant will need to live those values and hit the ground running without heavy hand holding.
What are we looking for? Our Project Manager has a knack for the following skills:
- A passionate gamer with a broad appreciation of mobile, PC and console titles
- A willingness to learn each game and its project setup inside out, and to stay hands-on with it every day
- Someone who can adapt to game development builds and Unity projects that are always changing, including version updates, new scenes and shifting assets
- An understanding of game trends and how games are marketed across the gaming landscape
- Creative problem solving: finding ways around bugs, broken scenes and build issues to get the shot
- A keen eye for composition, camera movement, lighting and framing
- An eagerness to develop in-engine cinematography techniques and creative storytelling skills
- A collaborator who can work efficiently with creative, editorial and client-side development teams
- Strong proficiency in Unity (essential), including Cinemachine, Timeline, the Unity Recorder and working across URP/HDRP render pipelines
- Working knowledge of Unreal Engine, including Sequencer, Movie Render Queue and cine cameras (highly desirable)
- Previous experience in a game capture, in-engine cinematics or trailer production role (essential)
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
- PC proficient, with experience capturing from both PC and mobile builds (Android/iOS)
