DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business. 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will: 

• Creating processes and tools that will be used by our engineering and analyst teams and have a direct impact on how Fortinet delivers software and handles traffic. 

• Design, build and manage highly available, scalable and robust services. 

• Manage a multi-tenant cloud environment with hundreds of containers by automating infrastructure changes and deployments. 

• Developing and maintaining our logging, monitoring and alerting stacks.

• 4+ years as DevOps Engineer (or equal role) with a passion for technology and strong motivation and responsibility for high reliability and service level 

• Proficiency in the cloud (AWS - preferred) 

• High proficiency with virtualized and containerized environments (Kubernetes and Docker) 

• Deep understanding in Linux: troubleshooting, designing robust architectures and understanding the internals 

• Experience with code language (Python & Bash - Advantage) 

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, CloudFormation etc. 

• Experience with OpenStack or Private cloud ecosystem - Advantage 

• Experience with CI/CD or test automation tools such as GitHub actions, Jenkins etc. 

• Experience  with NoSQL and Database technologies such as Elasticsearch (ELK) stack, Redis, PostgreSQL etc. 

• Familiarity with message brokers or pub/sub technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka AWS SQS 

• Managing a high-scale production environment 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between multiple teams 

• Ability to grasp new technologies quickly and prioritize and multitask on multiple responsibilities
