Role Summary
The Senior Manager, FP&A Business Partner leads financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for the U.S. Medical function. Reporting to the Director of FP&A Strategy, this role serves as a strategic finance partner to Medical leadership, ensuring strong financial governance, high‑quality reporting, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, challenging assumptions, and delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions, resource allocation, and performance.
This role builds strong cross-functional partnerships across Medical, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, and Global Finance to strengthen financial governance, improve processes, and support effective and forward-looking decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Planning

Act as the primary finance partner for the U.S. Medical function, including Investigator‑Initiated Trials (IITs).

Partner with Medical leadership to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and multi‑year financial plans.

Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.

Serve as a trusted thought partner by challenging assumptions, highlighting risks and opportunities, and proposing data‑driven solutions.

Acts as a connector across Finance and the business
Financial Management & Reporting
- Build and maintain robust financial tracking and reporting, including budget vs. actuals, forecast variance analysis, and cost driver explanations.
- Prepare and deliver clear, actionable management reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive‑level insights.
- Support month‑end close activities, including accruals, prepaid amortization reviews, and recommended journal entries, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and internal controls.
- Manage vendor commitments, purchase orders, and invoices to maintain strong financial control.
- Support intercompany transactions, including allocations, documentation, and process flows.
- Approve, track, and manage vendor commitments, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure proper financial control.
