Integrated Marketing & Growth Director

SoundCloud empowers artists, tastemakers and fans to connect and share through music. Founded in 2007, SoundCloud is a creator-first platform helping artists build and grow their careers by providing them with the most advanced tools, services, and resources. With over 4x the music catalog of every other major streaming platform, spanning 40+ million artists across 190+ countries, SoundCloud is where emerging artists find their sound, hidden gems are discovered, and music culture is shaped in real time.

At SoundCloud, we believe growth is not the responsibility of a single channel. Growth happens when products, experiences, customer journeys, marketing channels, creators, communities, and partnerships work together as a unified system.

We're looking for a Senior Director, Integrated Marketing & Growth to oversee SoundCloud's growth marketing ecosystem and connect every customer touchpoint into a unified engine that drives acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, monetization, and advocacy. In this role, you will build SoundCloud's growth operating system, own the end-to-end customer journey strategy, and lead performance, lifecycle, and organic growth channel strategy, while ensuring our platform remains discoverable in a world increasingly shaped by AI-powered search and recommendation engines. Working closely with Product Marketing, Brand, Community, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Executive Leadership, you will drive integrated campaign orchestration across the business, modernize marketing measurement and experimentation, and build and lead a high-performing growth organization.

Reporting to the Chief Growth & Marketing Officer, you will be ultimately responsible for how users discover, engage with, subscribe to, and advocate for SoundCloud,  maximizing long-term customer value across our entire ecosystem.

Above all, we're looking for a builder — someone who can connect people, teams, channels, and ideas into a growth engine that helps more creators and fans find success on SoundCloud.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in our NYC office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead the growth operating system, processes, and planning rhythms that unify efforts across Product, Marketing, Community, Partnerships, and Analytics into coordinated, scalable strategies, with clear prioritization and resource allocation
• Refine end-to-end creator and fan journeys to eliminate friction, bridge conversion gaps, and partner cross-functionally to accelerate activation, engagement, retention, and lifetime value — tying marketing efforts to customer behaviors, not just channel activity
• Own the overarching performance strategy for acquisition, lifecycle marketing, paid media, and conversion optimization, while expanding emerging discovery channels including SEO, AI search, AEO, App Store Optimization, and growth loops
• Lead integrated campaign orchestration across major product launches and brand moments (in close partnership with Product Marketing) establishing repeatable frameworks to sync execution across paid, owned, earned, and product surfaces
• Modernize measurement and attribution alongside Analytics and Data Science by advancing incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling, forecasting, LTV frameworks, and growth scorecards for the executive team
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing growth organization grounded in a culture of experimentation, operational excellence, and data-driven accountability

Experience and Background:

• 10+ years in Growth Marketing, Growth Strategy, Integrated Marketing, consumer technology, marketplaces, or platform businesses
• Experience leading large-scale acquisition, retention, and lifecycle programs for subscription or consumer businesses
• Demonstrated success building growth systems, operating models, and cross-functional organizations
• Deep expertise in experimentation, measurement, attribution, and growth analytics
• Experience managing complex customer journeys and multi-channel ecosystems
• Fluent with AI tools and comfortable building them into growth, discovery, and measurement workflows
• Strong strategic thinking paired with operational excellence
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and influence skills
• A real passion for creators, music, technology, and culture
