The internship program is designed to give our interns valuable and broadly applicable experience that will continue to be an asset well into the future.
The New Homes Rotational Internship will be an in-person position based in Northern Virgina. Interns will work from a variety of Van Metre offices, communities, model homes, and construction sites throughout the program. The position requires a valid driver's license, personal transportation, and the ability to travel locally during the workday.
Under the supervision of New Homes leadership, responsibilities include:

- Touring active communities, model homes, construction sites, and Van Metre offices.

- Assisting department teams with projects, research, and day-to-day business activities.
- Participating in company events, professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership discussions.
- Collaborating with fellow interns on a capstone presentation highlighting key learnings from the program.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in residential real estate, homebuilding, construction, marketing, sales, or customer experience.
