We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!
About the role
This is a key seat on a small, high-impact tech team inside Grüns, a fast-growing brand. You'll be the business owner for our move to D365 Finance & Operations: defining what the business actually needs, mapping how work flows end to end, testing until it's right, and making sure the new system improves the way people work, not just what software they log into. You'll partner across Finance, Ops, and Data teams, working shoulder to shoulder with our implementation partners to build the operating backbone we need to keep up with our rapid growth.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a biannual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and phase 2 rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, aligned to business objectives and industry best practices
Document end-to-end processes across procure-to-pay, month-end close, order-to-cash, inventory, logistics, and record-to-report, and flag where we should standardize vs. where we need customization
Design comprehensive solution architectures, including system integrations, data management, and application security
Run business validation and UAT: design cross-functional test scenarios, execute test scripts, engage subject matter experts to validate outcomes, and don't sign off until it works the way the business needs it to
Partner with the team to build the implementation plan, track milestones, surface risks and dependencies early, and keep cross-functional teams moving
Evaluate and recommend D365's built-in AI capabilities and other AI tools to improve efficiency and cut redundant work
Work hand in hand with our implementation partners so what gets built matches what was designed
Drive change management: build training, get teams confident on the new system, and go find the workarounds before they become SOP
Make sure ERP-supported processes hold up to internal controls and company policies
Push for configuration over customization so we don't build a system we can't upgrade
Take on special projects tied to operational excellence and growth as they come up
We're looking for someone who:
Has 7+ years in finance, accounting, or operations, with a deep understanding of business operations and financial processes
Has 3+ years implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management or equivalent ERP solutions
Has strong functional and technical knowledge of D365 F&O, with the ability to design solutions across multiple business functions and end-to-end enterprise processes
Has deep experience across assessment, analysis, business case development, solution envisioning, planning, deployment, and benefits realization
Can move fluidly between executive-level architecture discussions and hands-on delivery when required
Has experience in CPG, DTC, or retail operations; supplements or food and beverage is a plus
Holds Microsoft D365 F&O Financials certifications (preferred)
Has a bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field
Approach to the role:
You're comfortable with the big picture, but you'd rather be in the test scripts than the steering committee
You treat process discipline as a feature, not a bureaucracy, and you can sell that to a team that's used to moving fast
You have a bias to ship. Perfect is the enemy of go-live, but you know which corners can't be cut
You're fluent in AI tools and use them to speed up documentation, test case generation, and analysis, and you help others do the same
You document as you go. If it's not written down, it didn't happen
You're comfortable owning ambiguity and building process where none exists yet
Compensation & Benefits:
At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonus depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.
A bit about us...
At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.
Like you, we were disappointed. There’s an infinite number of “nutrition” companies, all focused on what’s best for them — not what’s best for you. Hundreds of products to sell you on, low-quality ingredients, and small nutrient doses. We’ve seen it all.
So we decided it was time to fix it. No more choking on and popping pills like a pharmacy. No more clean-up and disgust from gross powders. And no more cobbling together handfuls to dozens of supplements. Grüns is comprehensive nutrition, made convenient and delicious.
What we care about...
Be the Best: We hold ourselves, our teams, and our partners to an incredibly high standard - and we raise the bar constantly. "We've never done this before" isn't an excuse here. It's an invitation.
Own It: We act like our name is on the door. That means taking complete ownership of outcomes, collaborating deeply, working through roadblocks - not around them - and never waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Great owners are great partners.
Drive Impact, Urgently: We measure impact, not effort. We work smart and hard, move fast, and use every tool at our disposal - including AI - to focus our energy where it matters most.
Compensation & Perks:
For every role, we aim to have highly competitive compensation and opportunity for impact and career growth.
Everyone at Grüns works hard, but we believe in wellness and balance too. We have super strong benefits coverage -- for you and your family, generous PTO, free Grüns, and a few more perks centered around health and well-being that we can't wait to tell you about!
