We're raw, unfiltered, and a bit unconventional. Our drive is just like our athletes, unrivaled. The power is in your hands to define what success looks like and where you want to take your career. It's not just about what we do, but about who we become on along the way. We are much more than a brand here. We are a way of life, a mindset. Join us.
A Day in the Life:
As Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Planning, you will be a key leader in driving Monter Energy's North America growth strategy. You will lead the development and execution of commercial strategies across customer segments, channels, and markets to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
In this role, you will own end-to-end commercial planning, including go-to-market strategies, portfolio priorities, distribution expansion, and investment recommendations. Working collaboratively across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, you will ensure alignment between strategy and execution, helping Monter Energy capitalize on emerging opportunities, respond to market trends, and achieve its long-term growth objectives.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Develop the North America 3–5 year commercial growth architecture to ensure the business is structured for scale.
- Lead the commercial planning processes - including sources of growth, innovation, channel planning, go-to-market planning, and distribution expansion; direct the go-to-market planning process across channels, customer segments, and geographies to achieve our annual and long-range plan targets and ensure adherence to MEC brand objectives.
- Integrate eCommerce and digital commerce into the commercial planning process, ensuring omnichannel strategy keeps pace with evolving shopper behavior.
- Define the strategic customer framework and joint business planning standards that guide how Monster Energy invests in and grows its most critical retail and foodservice relationships.
- Lead product lifecycle management, including retirement strategies and exit plans, to reduce complexity and drive consistent execution on the most productive items across the system; execute new product commercial readiness and launch execution standards to improve innovation speed to market and reduce execution risk.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial strategies and capabilities are fully integrated and operationally executable across the business; align the North America Coca-Cola bottler system to ensure Monster Energy, bottlers, and retailers move in sync.
- Identify and address market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and category trends to sharpen strategic priorities and ensure Monster Energy stays ahead of shifts in the marketplace.
