Welcome to Allianz
Multiple incidents and crisis situations and a continued growth of the threat landscape are challenges to the operational resilience of Allianz Group; the assessment and management of threats are crucial topics we focus on, when aiming at making Allianz a safer place.
The Group Protection and Resilience team within the Group center Digital resilience is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations. For our team based in the headquarters in Munich, Germany, we are looking for an Incident and Crisis Management Expert who has a profound background in both domains and has strong project management skills. If you are ready to take over responsibility for the effective implementation and coordination of key aspects of the Group’s Protection & Resilience Framework and be part of the team that prepares Allianz globally to withstand business disruptions and successfully manages global incidents and crisis, take up the challenge… We are looking forward to having you in our team.
What awaits you as Senior Incident- and crisis management Expert (m/f/d)
- As the incident and crisis management expert in our Group Operational Resilience team, you own the end-to-end incident lifecycle — detection, classification against defined severity/major-incident criteria, cross-functional impact assessment, and coordinated response — ensuring a consistent, timely approach across the Group, including alignment with regulatory reporting obligations under DORA and much more including in particular ""non IT/IS incidents""
- Oversee and steer the time critical reporting to regulators, supervising authorities and Group decision bodies like Board of Management and supervisory board
- Act as the focal point for major incident coordination at Group level, ensuring timely escalation, stakeholder involvement, and hand-off to regulatory reporting workflows within the mandated timelines, while driving post-incident root-cause analysis and lessons-learned processes that feed back into the crisis management
- Actively foster sharing and exchange of information on incident management within the Group, including conducting awareness activities and trainings, and maintain incident monitoring capabilities including interfaces to relevant early-warning and threat-intelligence sources
- Perform systematic monitoring by leading and executing OE review and self-assessment tasks
- Together with our crisis management experts, you enhance, shape and support the Protection & Resilience domain of Crisis Management and its implementation
- Support the OEs to improve their crisis readiness and maturity via their local crisis management programs, including conducting Crisis
- Unit exercises and trainings, crisis management community building and best practice sharing across the Allianz Group
